At Keeth’s Trusty K-9s Training Academy we train all dogs and all breeds. All of our programs are board and train programs. Our programs are specially designed to reach higher standards than other training facilities. All programs are structured where you can start any program or advance to any program. Your companion will spend the required amount of time with Keeth’s Trusty K-9s Training Academy to complete the program. Although, 90% of the time all dogs complete the program on the scheduled date, your dog may be allowed up to an additional 4 or 5 days for more training if the trainer sees fit. At the beginning of the program, the first 4 days of your companion’s unique program is designed to fit his character and drives. Your companion is given massage therapy as well as psychoanalysis. This helps the dog to be in a relaxed state and not a skittish mentality. Our head trainer/owner of Keeth’s Trusty K-9s Training Academy is on site 24/7. The runs are large and spacious (5ft by 15ft) with manual sliding doors. They are inside/outside runs which helps the dogs to socialize. The runs are climate controlled. We have a 50ft by 100ft exceedingly pleasing play pen for your companion. Each dog is walked a minimum of 1 time per day after the first 4 days and has periodic training sessions per day after the first 4 days. After your dog has completed the training program the trainer and the owner of the pet or the handler will work with the pet on a one on one basis until your dog has the response you as it does with the trainer. Working with the dog and trainer on a one on one basis will give you guidance on what to do and what not to do so you can reach the level of success that you and your family desires.

Puppy Etiquette

This program is very important because Puppy Etiquette can stop a lot of unwanted behavior problems before they become uncontrollable. The puppy needs to know right from wrong. Our trainer will work with your puppy on obedience and correcting behavior. The Trainer will teach the owner the proper praise and reinforcement so that you may have more proficiency. All commands will be on a very loose leash. We will work on the basic commands; heel, come, sit (minimum 2 to 5 min.), stay (minimum 2 to 5 min.). We will work on reaction to another dog, reaction to a friendly stranger, biting, jumping, excess barking, door rushing etc. The behavior problems that occur during your companions stay with us will be addressed. We will work with your puppy on patience building, courage building, and trust. Keep in mind these are the minimum goals of this program. Each program is custom designed to your lifestyle. This program is a 15 day course for puppies 14 to 16 weeks and older. Price is $400.00.

Basic Training

Basic Training is essential for your pet. It is the foundation of a successful, happy, obedient companion. This program will allow you to have control over your companion so you can feel more freely about the things you do with him. The Trainer will teach the owner the proper praise and reinforcement so that you may have more proficiency. In this program the basic commands will be learned; heel, come, sit (minimum of 4 minutes), stay (minimum of 50 feet), down. All commands will be on a very loose leash. We will also work on behavior and other problems you may be experiencing with your companion, and prevent problems that could occur. We will work with on patience building, courage building, and trust. Keep in mind these are the minimum goals of this program. Each program is custom designed to your lifestyle. This program is a 15 day course. Price is $400.00

Intermediate Training

Intermediate training is the next step to condition your companion to come off the leash and be able to have more freedom. The Trainer will teach the owner the proper praise and reinforcement so that you may have more proficiency. The basic commands will be reinforced; heel, come, sit (minimum of 6 minutes), stay (minimum 50 feet), down. We will work with helping your companion build more courage. We will start your companion on hand commands, and prepare him for advanced training. We will work on patience building, courage building, and trust. Keep in mind these are the minimum goals of this program. Each program is custom designed to your lifestyle. This is a 20 day course. Price is $500.00

Advance Training

Advanced training is to help your companion achieve more than you ever thought possible. Your companion will be quick to obey. The Trainer will teach the owner the proper praise and reinforcement so that you may have more proficiency. All commands will be off leash; heel, sit (minimum of 10 minutes), stay (minimum of 100 feet), come, down and will be taught with hand signals. All behavior problems will be addressed and corrected. We will work on courage and patience building, and trust. Keep in mind these are the minimum goals of this program. Each program is custom designed to your lifestyle. We will work on distractions and problem solving. Price is $700.00.

Families’ Guardian Angel (protection):

Many different families love this program. This is a program designed to help families or individuals feel at ease and protected. Some women have a spouse who works away from home or travels. Some people live alone and don’t feel comfortable in their neighborhood. Some people have had a bad experience and go through life weary. Whatever your need is we understand and want to be able to help you feel more at ease by training your dog or a dog to be your guardian angel. This program will require some of your free time to fully understand the whole aspect of it. It is a fantastic program and could prevent so many dangerous situations. We want to help you feel secure. This is not your typical aggressive protection dog, nor is it the Schutzhund trained dog. Although, it has certain aspects of Schutzhund we incorporate practicality, since after all Schutzhund is a sport. This is a protection program designed for your lifestyle. If a protection dog is not purchased from Keeth’s Trusty K-9s Training Academy, your dog must be tested through a temperament, tolerance, and drives evaluation to see if your dog has what it take to be a protection dog.
